Mac and Cheese Bites

These bite-sized treats combine creamy, cheesy pasta in a crispy, golden crust, making them perfect for snacking or serving as a fun appetizer. Each piece offers a delicious contrast between the crunchy exterior and the gooey, savory center, capturing the comforting essence of classic macaroni and cheese in a convenient, portable form.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
     
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape Bites: Grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray or oil. Scoop the mixture into the muffin tin cups, filling them about three-quarters full and pressing down lightly.
  4. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Cool and Serve: Let them cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin. Serve warm and enjoy your Mac and Cheese Bites!
