Bread Pudding

This cozy dessert is made by soaking day-old bread in a blend of milk, eggs, sugar, and warming spices, then baking it until the inside is soft and custardy while the top turns golden and slightly crisp. Often enjoyed warm, it’s a versatile treat that can include raisins, nuts, or a drizzle of caramel sauce, transforming simple ingredients into a richly satisfying experience.

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups day-old bread, torn into pieces
  • 4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
