Pan-Seared Sea Bass with Lemon Butter

Ingredients:

  • 2 sea bass fillets
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the Fish: Pat the sea bass fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
     
  2. Heat Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear Fillets: Place the sea bass skin-side down in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Make Lemon Butter: Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside. Add butter and minced garlic to the same skillet, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice.
  5. Serve: Drizzle the lemon butter over the sea bass fillets and garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy!
